WALLACE H. LITTLE 2 April 1998 Dear brethren: Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May you prosper even as your soul prospers. Below is an exact duplicate of a form letter-appeal some Filipino "preachers" are sending to the US seeking support. Bro. George Sapitula; Samariniana, Brooke's point, Palawan, 5305, Philippines, initiated, signed, and mailed the original I have. The following co-signed: Alfredo I. Agbisit; Rudy Baagin; Edgardo Lagan; William R. Lagan; Platon J. Mabunga; and Mareclo Tiburan. It is an outrageous attempt to fleece US brethren by those making Godliness a way of gain. The copy I have seeks funds to support a woman as a Bible teacher. I have no objection to women Bible teachers. But I seriously protest one being supported by churches to do so. This petition is doubly outrageous: The requesting man is currently supported by American churches/saints, and the woman is his relative. Any wanting to respond, please send me (unzipped) at my E-mail address. If it is relevant, we will publish it. In Christ: Christ's disciples are Christian ONLY. We speak where the Bible speaks, are silent where it is silent. We do Bible things in Bible ways, call Bible things by Bible words. In faith, we have unity; in opinion, liberty; in all things, charity. Res. obvious with the greater majority Filipino families in the whole country;
