As you look at the information, keep in mind that the preacher signing the receipt received a single payment of P15,000 (1,000 pesos per member in a congregation). Copies of the receipts were mailed to donors whose donation made up the amount given to the preacher. However, notice that the amount the donor gave towards the total is not indicated, nor does each donor know how many other donors' gifts were applied to the receipt they received. The receipts only tell a donor that some money attributed to them was received by a preacher, but the amount the preacher received of the original donation cannot be determined. This method is unable to insure that funds were not pocketed by a middle man.
